REGIONAL

At your ASME Region's Regional Student Conference (RSC) in the spring of 1997. Contact your Regional Office for the dates and location.

• 1st - $200, trophy, and up to a $1000 travel allowance (*).
• 2nd - $100 and a plaque.
• 3rd - $50 and a plaque.

FINALS

At the 1997 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (The ASME Congress) in Dallas, TX (November 16-21, 1997).

• 1st Place - $3000 plus up to $1000 travel allowance (*) plus $1000 awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.
  
  
• 2nd Place - $1000 plus up to $1000 travel allowance (*) plus $500 awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.
  
  
• 3rd Place - $500 plus up to $1000 travel allowance (*) plus $250 Awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.
