spring of 2001. Contact your Regional
Office for the dates and location.

1st - $200, trophy, and up to a $1000 travel allowance (*) to the finals.

2nd - $100 and a plaque.

3rd - $50 and a plaque.
FINALS
At the 2001 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition
(The ASME Congress)

1st Place - $3000 plus $1000 awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.

2nd Place - $1000 plus $500 awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.

3rd Place - $500 plus $250 Awarded to Student Section of Winner's Institution.
In past years, the prizes included travel allowance for winners to attend
the National Design Conference in Chicago.
Unfortunately, ASME has ended its affiliation with the National Design
Conference and that portion of the prize can no longer be awarded.

For Region winners to attend the Congress:

All travel contributions will be paid after submittal of expense reports.

All travel contributions are subject to ASME policy restrictions (travel
